2010 Meeting Calendar

Our next SMAS club meeting will be:

Friday, September  24^th

Title: Dust off your scope.  Telescopes, how they work and how to use them.   The public is invited to bring their telescope (the one that you might be using as a coat rack because you never learned how to use it) to the Museum of the Rockies Redstart Room.  SMAS members will be available to show you how to align your scope and find objects in the sky.

Friday, October 29th

Title: TBD (AstroArcheology)

November and December meetings will be combined for our annual elections.

We will not hold a SMAS club member meeting for May 2010 due to the holiday weekend.  Our June, July and August meetings will be observing dates.  June, July and August will have Stars over Bozeman observings at the 100 acre park off of Oak Street.  July and August will have observings in Yellowstone National Park. (See the Stars Over Yellowstone Page for more information.

SMAS holds meetings the last Friday of each month at the Museum of the Rockies from September until the month of April.
